![]() ![]() ![]() To recap I have done a clean install of Win 7 OS on a separate HD on my pc (A), installed ACAD on this drive but do not have the option to run in trial mode. If I have a mishap and lose the licence, it's game over for me so it's vital we get this right. I need to be confident that I can continue using the program once I have moved it around. I know this sounds a bit long winded but I cannot afford to lose the install I currently have without first exporting the licence and I know that these are time sensitive 24 hours? Do you think this is because it is on the same pc and motherboard, albeit on a separate drive, whereas the other set up is on another computer altogether?ĭo you think I could export the current licence to a usb, uninstall the application completely from my pc, transfer the licence to the other machine, and then export this again back from this other machine back onto a new install on my main machine? On my current pc I have reinstalled the Win 7 OS onto another hard drive with a different boot, but it doesn't give me the option to run as a trial and requires all the activation serial numbers, which I do not have. The weird thing is, I have installed via the disc on another computer and it has given me the opportunity to run a trial version, onto which I can transfer my licence. Thanks for the info - that's what I thought. ![]()
